Stop Manually Updating Your Calendar – Get Your Feed!

(Unless of course, you enjoy downloading the iCal/Outlook entries!)

If you’re a high volume attorney for LCC, we understand your frustration with always trying to keep your hearing calendar up-to-date with the correct and relevant information. Sometimes it’s difficult to download every iCal or Outlook calendar entry for every hearing, then remembering to delete the entries that have been cancelled or postponed. We feel your pain. In fact, we’re working really hard to make it easier for you in several respects. So, let’s get to showing you what we’ve been up to:

First, as most of you have already noticed, we’ve included your calendar on the hearing selection page:

This should make it a lot easier for you to review and select hearings which fit into your schedule, or add additional hearings which may be on the route that you’re taking for any particular day.

Next. So, in the past, you would review a hearing opportunity, select it, then go to the hearing overview page to download an iCal or Outlook calendar entry. You can still do that. But, if you want an “Always Up-To-Date Calendar” – without having to manage it yourself – we’ve made it simple. We’ve programmed a calendar feed which is now available to you! Check it out:

First, from your Attorney Homepage, click on “Calendar”…

Then, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click on “Subscribe”…

After you click on “Subscribe” a small pop-should appear which will give you instructions. Essentially, you click on the link we provide, and your calendar program should open automatically and subscribe to your LCC Hearing Feed. Boom. That easy. And convenient!

If you don’t use a desktop calendar program, but you have an iPhone, you can add the calendar directly there too. Copy this link and then go into Settings. Choose “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”. Then “Add Account”. Then “Other”. Then “Add Subscribed Calendar”. Put that URL into the Server field and you will be good to go.

*IMPORTANT* – Do not share this link with anyone else. It is yours. You don’t want anyone else to have access to your hearing calendar.

If you use iCloud or Google Apps/Calendar, you can import this feed into your main calendar, and it should populate to your mobile devices. Pretty cool, huh?

Let us know what you think. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please let us know. We’re easy to get a hold of.
